It’s barely been a month since Apple released the iPhone 14, and already people are talking about the iPhone 15. Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst for Apple, has predicted that the company would begin including unique upgrades in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The possible release date for the iPhone series in 2023 has just been revealed.
Reportedly, Apple has instructed its staff at the Apple Milton Keynes shop in England to forgo vacation time next year during the peak seasons of the autumn and winter holidays. This is often when Apple introduces and starts selling their new iPhones. MacRumours reports that staff have been informed that their requests for time off between September 15 and October 7, 2023, and between December 2 and the beginning of January 2024 would not be approved by shop managers. During this time, the shop expects “higher footfall.”
Managers at the stores insist that the directive comes from “above the shop,” but the retail staff has no idea who in Apple’s corporate structure is really making the call. “to make sure we are more ready for next year at high velocity times,” the message reads, the instructions arrive ahead of time.
In the meanwhile, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that Apple will further separate the Pro and non-Pro iPhone models in terms of price. It’s possible that the iPhone 15 Pro Max may have certain capabilities that are unique to the tech giant. Kuo thinks the firm has a good chance of succeeding by implementing a strategic product segmentation plan to increase revenue and profit. Apple would also want to raise the proportion of Pro models shipped, raising the average selling price of its high-end handsets. It is speculated that Apple may rebrand the top-tier iPhone 15 model, formerly known as the iPhone 15 Pro Max, as the iPhone 15 Ultra. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman thinks that changing the name of the gadget would be more easier and more in line with Apple’s most recent naming approach, as seen in the M1 Pro, M1 Mx, and M1 Ultra Mac processors.
