The Oppo A7 packs quite a few features into its mid-range price point. It boasts a sleek design and a screen with no borders, making it seem expensive. The battery life and quality of the device’s cameras are both exceptional. The only thing that could have made it better at this price point is Full HD capability, which it unfortunately does not have. Otherwise, it’s a cheap gadget that has everything you need.

The laminated back and waterdrop notch on the Oppo A7 give it a contemporary flair. However, the HD+ quality of the 6.2-inch LCD screen results in blurry pictures and text. Despite its plastic construction, the device is sturdy enough to handle twin 4G networks with Voice over LTE. This phone uses the underpowered Snapdragon 450 octa-core SoC.

Although the 4GB of RAM is appreciated, ColorOS still sometimes seems slow. The back 13-megapixel camera takes passable photos in bright light but has trouble capturing fine details and maintaining focused in dim conditions. The A7’s 4230mAh battery allows it to survive for over two days, which is fantastic.
