Garmin Plans to launch two new Smartwatches in India

Two new Garmin smartwatches have been found on the BIS listing website, indicating that they have received the necessary certification to sell in India. The listing exposes the forthcoming smartwatches’ model numbers. Model numbers for forthcoming Garmin watches are listed on BIS.

The BIS entry provides few information other from the model numbers (AA4390 and A04390), suggesting that more investigation is required. Both model numbers begin with “4390,” suggesting they refer to variations of the same smartwatch. We did some research on these two model numbers, and we were able to identify them as the Venu Sq2 and the Venu Sq2 Music Edition. Each of these smartwatches entered the market throughout the world in the previous month.

In spite of the fact that the model numbers are identical to those of their international counterparts, it is not known whether or not Garmin intends to introduce the same model to India as it does everywhere else or whether there will be any modifications to the model’s features or specs.

Nonetheless, Garmin often ships the international version of its watches to India. It implies that next smartwatches may contain GPS, an AMOLED screen, and a battery life of up to 12 days, in addition to a plethora of health and wellness tracking tools like a heart rate monitor, a SpO2 sensor, and more.

Meanwhile, in India, Garmin has introduced two new sports-oriented smartwatches. Both the Forerunner 255 and the Forerunner 955 are examples of modern wristwatch technology. These watches are built to last and are loaded with useful functions for runners and fitness enthusiasts.
